“With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts”
Recent scientific studies show that positive thinking is a far more powerful tool than we realise. Embracing how to be optimistic and positive no matter what life throws at you is one of the most beneficial skills you can learn in life and plays an important role in your overall health and wellbeing. We can transfer a negative into a positive. Our feelings follow our thinking.
Some people may think this is a naive way to look at the world. Some see and experience life as negative and hard with little meaning. Being positive is a mental attitude which can be learned. One in which there is an expectation of good and favourable results, even when faced with a potentially negative outcome. This does not mean you have to avoid or ignore bad or stressful events, generally this is not possible to do in the day to day; rather make the most you can of these situations and try to view yourself and your abilities in a strong, positive light.
In other words, positive thinking is the process of creating thoughts that create and transform energy into reality. A positive mind believes and waits for happiness, health and a happy ending in any situation. Positive thinkers face the challenges that life presents to them and allow themselves to learn and grow from the negative experiences.
Health And Longevity Benefits
There are a myriad of popular self-help books available touting the power of thinking positively and these certainly can help some people structure their thoughts. Scientific research has found there are actually very real health benefits linked to optimistic attitudes and positive thinking.

This will benefit you by increasing the strength of your immune system, in turn leaving you less susceptible to major illnesses and assisting your body to fight off common viruses. Surround yourself with positive people as healthy living and a positive attitude are closely linked. People who smile, are friendly and happy are very attractive as their inner beauty cannot help shining through and it is compelling, Consequently, you will find you are more motivated physically and mentally, which in turn promotes better self-esteem and happiness.
Positive thinking is not trying to gloss over or ignore the problems in your life, it is about approaching and dealing with the challenges with a positive attitude. It is about making the best of a bad situation, pay attention to what you are saying to yourself in your head and not letting the negative overwhelm you.
